As a service to our busy families, SMA offers supervised care for your child before and after school. Before and after school care hours extend from 7:00 am until 5:30 pm.
Students are automatically enrolled and billed each day if they use the program during the following times:
GRADES 1-8 GRADES PRE-K/K
7:00 a.m. to 7:40 a.m. 7:00 a.m. to 7:45 a.m.
2:50 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. 11:15 am (Pre-K 3) 11:30 am (Pre-K 4) to 5:30 p.m.
On weather delay days the before school program starts at 9:00 a.m.
Whenever there is a school cancellation, BSP and ASP are also cancelled.
The ASP is available on early release professional development days (/P). ASP is not available on early release vacation days (/V).
1st child $ 6.00 per hour, pro-rated by the minute.
2nd child $5.50 per hour, pro-rated by the minute.
All other children in the family are free.
$20.00 late fee and $1.00 PER MINUTE per child penalty is charged after 5:30 p.m.
When dropping off students in Grades K-8, students enter the main school building through the office. Pre-K students are dropped off at the Pre-K building using the Church Street entrance.
ASP for all students in grades Pre-K through 2 will be housed in the Pre-K building. When picking up your child, please enter through the Church Street entrance.
ASP for students in grades 3 through 8 will be housed in the Main School building until 4:30. At 4:30 the students are moved to the Pre-K building. Until 4:30, please go to the main office to sign out your child. After that time you may pick up your child in the Pre-K building.
At pick up time, an authorized adult listed on the registration form must sign for the child’s release.
General (applicable to both BSP and ASP)
Monthly statements are emailed at the beginning of each month. Your statement can also be viewed on Sycamore. The balance is due the 15th. Unpaid balances after the 30th may restrict use of BSP/ASP until balance is paid.
Please keep the school records current with regard to: custody arrangements, address or telephone changes, and pick-up authorizations.
